Howdy!

One of the blessings of my life is that take three days off every other week. That extra day makes my time away from the bookshop even more refreshing than I'd expected. Though my latest three-day 'weekend' has left me more exhausted than rested. Mostly invisible labor on the underpinnings of the weblogs and some things I'd like for them to do. Too tired to feel like saying much this afternoon.

I was looking at the stats for my website this morning and was damned startled to discover that the readership of this, my personal weblog, has risen sharply since I last looked. To be sure it is only a fraction of Amorous Propensities' readership. And single old entries there receive more hits (not quite the same thing as readers) than Pansexual Sodomite as a whole. (For those who care about such things this is the only one of my six weblogs where all three RSS feeds are almost equally subscribed to.)

This is sort of a howdy and thanks. To be sure you shouldn't thank people for reading. If you write a personal weblog for any reason other than the kick it gives you to type away madly about things (or can make as much money at is as America's most famous gay blogger) you shouldn't keep one.

How you got here I won't speculate but it is a treat to know you are about. I'd like to insert something witty here but I'm not lucky enough to be one of those people whom weariness makes tart and droll.
