Fear of the Metrosexual male?

Growth of gender studies among 'real men' as illustrated by this weblog comment:
Our differences are supposed to be what makes us attractive to the opposite sex in the first place. I can't imagine a woman finding a guy whose nails are more manicured than hers, wears sarongs or waxes his "hoo-hah" attractive. Do you honestly think a woman finds it attractive when a man gets a pedicure? This makes me want to retch.
I guess women weren't really attracted to the glam rockers, heavy metal pop stars and the Goth guys.
Not to mention that traditional gender roles are what has held our society together for thousands of years in the first place.
More like kept many societies sexist and socially constipated for millennia.
