John Tucker of John Tucker Must Die is the most gifted conniver in the history of teen sex comedies. He can juggle and delude at least three supposedly smart teen hotties at a time. Indeed the movie seems to celebrate mostly his ability to delude and manipulate everybody in his high school.
The movie proceeds along briskly and competently enough.
Naturally the girl who is to bring about his downfall falls in love with John. And the principles all acquire moral enlightenment and psychological insight.
Now if you believe any of it you may even be able to remember the movie a week or two after having watched it.
